The Bulls play the finale of a three-game home series against the Gwinnett Braves in the final series before the All-Star break. Durham is 6-4 in July, but has still dropped 15 of its last 23 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 3.5-game deficit. Gwinnett - the Atlanta Braves' top affiliate - is 5-7 in July after undergoing a six-game losing skid from 7/3-7/8, tied for its longest of the season. The G-Braves have held sole possession of fourth place in the IL South for each of the last 85 days.
