Pigs Try to Take Series from Mud Hens

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will try to take the series and make it three wins in a row over the Toledo Mud Hens on Thursday night at Coca-Cola Park. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m.

RHP Sean O'Sullivan (0-0, 3.00) gets the ball for the Pigs in the series finale on Thursday. The San Diego native got a no-decision on Saturday at Rochester after giving up two runs on six hits to go along with two walks and four strikeouts over six innings of work. O'Sullivan will be making his second start of the season for Lehigh Valley after going 1-6 with a 6.08 ERA in 13 GS with the Phillies.

RHP Buck Farmer (7-3, 4.13) will be on the bump for manager Larry Parrish's squad. Farmer was dealt the loss on Saturday vs. Indianapolis when he allowed six runs on seven hits in just 0.1 IP. The right-hander was ranked as the No.2 prospect in the DET system by Baseball America prior to the season. Over his last 5 GS in the International League, Farmer is 1-2 with a 7.66 ERA.

Thursday is $1 Hot Dog Night presented by Lehigh Carbon Community College. There is also a pregame Happy Hour in the AT&T Plaza from 5 to 6 p.m. with $1 hot dogs and $2 domestic drafts.
