Today's Game
This afternoon, the Bisons face the Syracuse Chiefs in finale of a four-game set at Coca-Cola Field (1:05 p.m.). The Bisons have won two of the three games against the Chiefs thus far and are 4-3 on the homestand that ends today. Tomorrow, Buffalo opens up a three game series in Pawtucket against the Red Sox.

The Bisons are 6-2 against the Chiefs this season. These teams will meet 13 more times this year, including next week in Syracuse (July 27-30). The Chiefs will also make two more trips to Buffalo this year, August 21-23 and September 1-2. The Bisons (10-7) and Red Wings (11-8) are tied for 1st place in the 2015 Thruway Cup Standings.
Scott Copeland
RHP SCOTT COPELAND is coming off his sixth win of the season last Saturday. Pitching on eight days rest, the righty allowed just one run on five hits in six innings to beat the Clippers. Copeland has worked six or more frames in four straight starts and in nine of his 11 starts this season. Opponents are hitting just .206 off Copeland this season.

INF MATT HAGUE picked up his 40th extra-base hit of the season last night with two singles in three at-bats. His average on the season is back up to .349 -the best mark in the International League. He also leads the circuit with 126 hits and a .433 on-base pct. Hague picked up his 62nd RBI of the season last night, second most in the IL.
Bobby Korecky
RHP BOBBY KORECKY picked up his team-best seventh save of the season last night. The save was also his 29th in three seasons with the Bisons. He now trails RHP Fernando Cabrera by only one for the most career saves in the team's modern era (since 1985).
Bisons Bits
Since returning to the Herd on July 17, OF DALTON POMPEY has averaged .375 (9-24) with two RBI, five runs scored, and a .483 on-base pct....Since June 30, LHP ROB RASMUSSEN has not allowed a run to score in his last nine appearances (8.2 IP)...The Bisons are a league-best 35-6 (.854) when scoring first in games this season.
Blue Jays Update
The Blue Jays (48-48) dropped a 10-inning affair last night in Oakland by a 4-3 score. Russell Martin went 3-4 from the plate while former Bison Felix Doubront doled out seven hits and three runs over 4.2 innings without earning a decision. Toronto takes on the Athletics again today at 3:37 p.m.
