Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (44-54) play the finale of a four-game series against the West's fourth-place Toledo Mud Hens (42-56) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 7-4 win last night, the Pigs have won back-to-back games and have improved to 2-1 on this seven-game homestand. The surging Pigs have won 15 of their last 21 affairs and sport the IL's second-best record (22-12) since June 14 after falling back to their low-water mark (22-42) of the season... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- have dropped seven of their last nine games and are just 7-13 in July... Next up for the Pigs is a three-game series with Syracuse, which is 11-6 since setting a low-water mark (28-54) on July 3.
RHP Sean O'Sullivan (0-0, 3.00) will start for LHV against RHP Buck Farmer (7-3, 4.13).
Tonight is $1 Hot Dog Night, presented by Lehigh Carbon Community College... First Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
