
Pigs one-hit by Rochester

(Allentown, Pa) - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (17-15) managed just one hit on Wednesday evening in their 3-0 loss to the Rochester Red Wings (11-21).
Rochester scored three runs against Adonis Medina (3-3) in the top of the fourth inning. Brandon Snyder hit an RBI double to score Carter Kieboom and Tres Barrera hit a two-run single to score Snyder and Alec Keller.
Medina pitched four innings and allowed three runs off five hits and two walks with four strikeouts. The IronPigs bullpen was strong in relief as they combined to pitch five innings, not allow a run, and only give up two hits and issue one walk while striking out ten batters. Enyel De Los Santos pitched two innings, while Bryan Mitchell, J.D. Hammer and Neftali Feliz each pitched an inning.
Rochester's Tyler Eppler (1-3) was strong as he only gave up one hit and issued two walks while striking out five batters in seven innings. Dakota Bacus struck out one batter and issued a walk in one inning of relief work. Justin Miller earned his fourth save of the season by retiring the side in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Didi Gregorius went 0-for-1 with a walk in his Good Shepherd Rehabilitation appearance. Adam Haseley went 0-for-4 in his Good Shepherd Rehabilitation appearance.
Lehigh Valley and Rochester play again on Thursday evening at Coca-Cola Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
