Isotopes 6 (18-16), Chihuahuas 2 (23-10) - Southwest University Park, El Paso, Tex.

AT THE DISH: The Isotopes connected on two home runs on the evening. Pat Valaika registered his eighth home run of the season for the Isotopes. He has now hit eight round-trippers in 60 Triple-A at bats. Sam Hilliard's big-fly was his team-leading 10th of the season. He finished the night 3-for-4 ... Isotopes starter Peter Lambert helped his own cause at the dish, connecting on two RBI singles.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Lambert was stellar both at the plate and on the mound. The right-hander allowed one run on three hits over his 7.0 innings on the mound. Lambert walked two and struck out four on 97 pitches ... Phillip Diehl allowed one run in his inning of relief. The run surrendered by Diehl was his first earned run of the 2019 season split between Double-A and Triple-A in 15.1 innings ... Jairo Diaz continued his impressive campaign, shutting down El Paso in the ninth.

TOPES TIDBITS: The win snaps the Isotopes three-game losing streak ... The Chihuahuas came into the game with a four-game winning streak.
