Penguins Recall Adam Krause

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have recalled forward Adam Krause from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL). This is Krause's first AHL recall.

Krause has 15 goals and nine assists for 24 points in 37 games with the Nailers this season. His goal total is tied for third-most on the team.

The Hermantown, Minn. native posted a career-best five-game point streak spanning Feb. 17, 2016 - Feb. 27, 2016, including a streak of four straight games with a goal.

Krause was a four-year letterman at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, collecting 16 goals, 21 assists and 169 PIM in 133 games. He also served as team captain during both his junior and senior years.

The Penguins' next home game is tonight, Saturday, Mar. 12, against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
