Forward Maxim Kitsyn Returns to Manchester

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that forward Maxim Kitsyn has been reassigned to the Manchester Monarchs of the ECHL by the Kings.

Kitsyn, 24, skated in two games with the Reign, scoring no points. The Novokuznetsk, Russia, native leads the Monarchs with 23 goals and is second on the team with 45 points in 54 games played. He also skated with the Reign in training camp earlier this season. Currently in his third professional North American season, Kitsyn appeared in seven games with the Monarchs (AHL) last season (one goal) and 57 games with the Reign (ECHL) adding 43 points (26 goals, 17 assists).

The Ontario Reign team up with the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley once again for Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley Night on Saturday, March 12 at 6:00 p.m. at Citizens Business Bank Arena. The Reign will wear special paw-print jerseys as they battle their rivals in the San Diego Gulls.
