Reign Return Home to Host Gulls on Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley Night

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), host the San Diego Gulls tonight at 6:00 p.m. PT at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley Night. Tonight is the ninth of 12 meetings between the two teams this season.

Back Home:

The Reign return to Citizens Business Bank Arena for the first time since March 19 (22 days) after completing a five-game road trip (4-1-0-0) and are currently on a four-game winning streak.

Comeback Kids:

The Reign enter tonight's tilt with confidence after earning their most thrilling comeback victory of the season Wednesday night. Trailing 4-2 to the San Antonio Rampage with less than three minutes left in regulation time, forward Jonny Brodzinski, defenseman Kevin Gravel and forward Nic Dowd lit the goal lamp for a stunning 5-4 victory. Leading By Example:

Defenseman Vincent LoVerde (four goals, one assist), forward Sean Backman (four goals, four assists) and forward Nic Dowd (two goals, four assists) each enter tonight's game riding four-game point streaks.

The Reign hold a 3-4-0-1 record against the Gulls this season. Defenseman Vincent LoVerde leads the Reign and is tied for the series lead with seven points (one goal, six assists). Gulls forward Chris Mueller also has one goal and six assists for seven points.
