Flames Assign Tyler Wotherspoon to Stockton

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned defenseman Tyler Wotherspoon to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Stockton Heat.
Wotherspoon, Calgary's second round pick (57th overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, has played eight games for Calgary this season and averaged 13 minutes in ice-time with a +3 rating. The 22-year-old has also skated in 42 games for Stockton this season and he has four assists and 12 penalty minutes.
