Parillo to Grand Rapids

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that forward Nick Parillo has been recalled to Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League. In a separate move, forward Sam Paolini has been returned to Toledo from Utah of the AHL. Player Bios are located on page two.

Nick, Toledo's current point leader with 16, has appeared in all 17 games for the Storm this season. Parillo has three goals; thirteen assists on the year, and has played at a plus three. This is the fourth straight season that Nick has seen time in the AHL. Last season Parillo spent eight games with the San Antonio Rampage, grabbing a goal and an assist. In his career, Parillo has seen action with Rochester, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Grand Rapids, and San Antonio for a total of 17 AHL games. He has three points in those games (2-1). The Griffins are home tonight against the Utah Grizzlies, before hitting the road for two games at St. John's Tuesday and Wednesday.

Paolini returns to Toledo after playing one game with the Utah Grizzlies in Cleveland last night. Sam did not register a point, but did have a shot in the contest.

Tonight, Toledo takes on the Peoria Rivermen, and Saturday, December 11th is NASCAR night with the Toledo Storm. Toledo Hockey...A History of Champions!
