Atlantic City Rolls Over Chiefs

Johnstown, PA- Former Johnstown Chief Jason Notermann scored two goals for the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies as they defeated the Chiefs 6-1 Saturday night at the War Memorial.

Brent Kelly scored the only Johnstown goal. Luke Curtin, Derek Edwardson, Fraser Clair and Vince Macri also scored for Atlantic City.

Chiefs goaltender David Currie started the game allowing three goals on 12 shots. David Cann played the final two periods allowing 3 goals while stopping 17 shots. Atlantic City goaltender Jake Moreland made 30 saves in the contest.

The Chiefs are now 7-5-6 on the season while the Boardwalk Bullies are now 13-5-2 and remain in first place in the North division.

The Chiefs will play their next four games on the road with stops in Trenton tomorrow, Reading and Atlantic City next weekend before wrapping up in Dayton on December 17th. Saturday, December 18th will be the annual Johnstown Chiefs/Power 99 and U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Toy Toss. All fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed toy to the game and when the Chiefs score their first goal, throw them onto the ice!
