Orioles Reinstate RHP Gausman from Disabled List; Option INF Flaherty to Triple-A Norfolk

The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated RHP KEVIN GAUSMAN from the 15-day disabled list and optioned INF RYAN FLAHERTY to Triple-A Norfolk.
Gausman, 25, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on April 3 (retroactive to March 25) with a right shoulder strain. He made three rehab starts with Class A-Advanced Frederick, Double-A Bowie, and Triple-A Norfolk, striking out 19 over 11.0 innings. In his final rehab appearance on April 20 with the Tides, Gausman struck out nine over 5.2 innings, allowing three runs on four hits. In 65 career Major League games (42 starts), he has gone 14-19 with a 4.21 ERA (128 ER/273.1 IP) and 240 strikeouts.
Flaherty, 29, batted .200/.273/.200 (2-for-10) in four games with the Orioles this season.
