Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), take on the Charlotte Checkers today at 3:00 p.m. PT at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Today is the fourth and final regular-season meeting between the two teams this season.

The Last Time We Met:
The Reign and Checkers collided last night at Citizens Business Bank Arena with the Checkers prevailing 4-2. Reign forward Sean Backman recorded two assists in the contest. The Reign hold a 2-1-0-0 head-to-head record against the Checkers this season.
Reign Snap Skid:
The Reign snapped a seven-game power-play goalless streak last night thanks to forward Nic Dowd late in the second period. Before last night's contest, the Reign last scored on the man advantage on Sunday, December 6 against the Checkers in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Schultz Hits 600:
Reign defenseman Jeff Schultz enters today's contest with 599 professional games played. Over his 10-year career, Schultz recorded 19 goals and 103 assists for 122 points.
