Oklahoma City - Six unanswered runs over the seventh and eighth innings pushed the Oklahoma City Dodgers to a 9-6 win in a back-and-forth game against the Omaha Storm Chasers Thursday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The Dodgers took the field as Cielo Azul de Oklahoma City for the first time this season Thursday to kick off ¡CelebraciÃ"n Cielo Azul! as part of Minor League Baseball's® "Es Divertido Ser Un Fan®" ("It's Fun to Be a Fan®") campaign.

Trailing, 6-3, entering the bottom of the seventh inning, the Dodgers scored twice in the frame and tacked on four additional runs in the eighth inning for a 9-6 advantage heading into the ninth inning.

Joe Broussard entered the game and pitched a scoreless top of the ninth inning for the Dodgers to pick up his second save of the season.

With the win, the Dodgers improved to 21-5 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark this season.

Omaha (23-30) took the game's first lead in the top of the second inning, scoring a run on Logan Moon's RBI single up the middle for a 1-0 advantage.

The Dodgers (31-19) took the lead in the bottom of the frame, stringing together four hits with two outs. Matt Beaty connected on a double and scored on a RBI single by Rocky Gale to knot the game, 1-1. After a single by Jake Peter put runners on first and second base, Tim Locastro's RBI single put Oklahoma City in front, 2-1.

Kyle Farmer blasted a home run onto the Budweiser Deck in left field to give the Dodgers a 3-1 lead in the third inning. The homer was Farmer's third of the season with OKC.

Back-to-back RBI doubles by Omaha's Ryan O'Hearn and Cam Gallagher in the sixth inning tied the game, 3-3.

The Storm Chasers then went on to score three runs in the top of the seventh inning to take a 6-3 lead.

Adalberto Mondesi drew a walk with two outs and advanced to third on a single by Frank Schwindel. Mondesi then scored on a wild pitch to give Omaha a 4-3 advantage. Ryan O'Hearn followed with a RBI single to push Omaha ahead, 5-3, and Cam Gallagher's RBI double tacked on another run for a 6-3 Storm Chasers' lead.

The Dodgers loaded the bases on three walks in the bottom of the seventh inning and Henry Ramos connected on a two-run broken-bat single into right field to cut the deficit to 6-5.

Oklahoma City loaded the bases again in the bottom of the eighth inning with none out. Farmer was then hit by a pitch to tie the game before Edwin RÃ-os' RBI single to right gave OKC a 7-6 lead. Another run scored when Ramos hit into a fielder's choice to put the Dodgers ahead by two runs. Matt Beaty's sacrifice fly brought home Farmer for the final run of the night to cap a four-run eighth inning.

Dodgers reliever J.T. Chargois (1-0) pitched a scoreless eighth inning for the win. Storm Chasers reliever Mike Broadway (3-1) allowed four runs on two hits over one-third of the eighth inning and was charged with the loss.

Oklahoma City was one of 33 Minor League Baseball teams invited to participate in MiLB's "Es Divertido Ser Un Fan" ("It's Fun to Be a Fan®") campaign this season. MiLB® selected nine Pacific Coast League teams to participate and each will don an alternate, culturally relevant identity for select games during the 2018 season with the aim to attract, engage and celebrate Hispanic and Latino fans in each participating team's city.

Oklahoma City's Spanish team name Cielo Azul translates to "blue sky." The concept was developed to celebrate the richness and depth of Hispanic and Latino culture in the United States, while also linking the identity to the famous Dodger blue and to the team's home state of Oklahoma, which often boasts vast blue skies.

The Dodgers series against Omaha, as well as ¡CelebraciÃ"n Cielo Azul!, continues at 7:05 p.m. Friday. The gates open at 6 p.m. and the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive an OKC Dodgers Water Bottle, presented by Tyler Media. Fireworks are scheduled to follow the game, presented by Oklahoma City University.

Live coverage begins 15 minutes before first pitch on AM 1340 "The Game," 1340thegame.com, or through the free iHeartRadio mobile app.

Tickets are available through the OKC Dodgers ticket office located on South Mickey Mantle Drive, by phone at (405) 218-2182, or by visiting okcdodgers.com.
