
Chasers Players, Front Office to Participate in Chasers Community Week

PAPILLION, Neb. - The Omaha Storm Chasers organization's fourth annual "Chasers Community Week" presented by Summit Dental Health kicks off on Tuesday, June 5. Omaha Storm Chasers players and front office members, as well as representatives from Summit Dental Heath will be volunteering their time throughout the Omaha Metro community from June 5-11. Details for each day of "Chasers Community Week" can be found below, which include players visiting Children's Hospital and the Boys & Girls Club of South Omaha, as well as attending All Play Miracle League games at Seymour Smith Park. Players scheduled to appear are subject to change.
Planned Events for "Chasers Community Week"
- Tuesday, June 5 - Storm Chasers players Jonathan Dziedzic, Glenn Sparkman and Frank Schwindel are scheduled to visit patients at Children's Hospital at 10:00am CT.
- Wednesday, June 6 - Members of the Storm Chasers front office staff will be serving lunch at Open Door Mission from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
- Thursday, June 7 - Storm Chasers players Richard Lovelady, Kevin Lenik, Logan Moon and Eric Stout are scheduled to visit the Boys & Girls Club of South Omaha and play a game of whiffle ball starting at 12:00pm.
- Friday, June 8 - Members of the Storm Chasers front office staff along with Storm Chasers players Logan Moon and Eric Stout will be teaming up with Sarpy Habitat For Humanity from 9:00am until 12:00pm. Members of the Summit Dental office staff will also be working at the site from 12:00-3:00pm.
- Saturday, June 9 - Storm Chasers players and Stormy will be attending the All Play Miracle League games from 10:00am until 11:30am at Seymour Smith Park. All Play will also be attending the Omaha Storm Chasers contest on Sunday, June 10.
- Sunday, June 10 - Storm Chasers players and coaches will be volunteering their time by participating in the annual Lil Chasers Baseball 101 Clinic at Werner Park prior to that day's game.
- Monday, June 11 - Summit Dental will have a Lemonade Stand outside of the Werner Park gates to help raise money for Open Door Mission.
The Storm Chasers return to Werner Park to begin a seven-game homestand on Tuesday, June 5, starting with a four-game set versus the El Paso Chihuahuas. First pitch of the series opener is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. that evening.
Single game tickets for all remaining Storm Chasers home contests are still available, and can be purchased online at www.omahastormchasers.com, or by calling the Werner Park Ticket Office from noon until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at (402) 738-5100.
