Nemisz Recalled to Calgary

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that forward Greg Nemisz has been recalled from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Nemisz, a native of Courtice, Ontario, is playing in his first professional season with the Heat and is currently second on the team for both points (32) and goals (14). The 6'3", 200 lbs forward was a member of the Canadian National Junior Team in 2010 capturing a silver medal at the World Junior Championships. He was also a member of back to back Memorial Cup Championships with the Windsor Spitfires in 2009 and 2010. He was the Flames 1st round pick (25th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
