Houston Aeros News Release

CEDAR PARK, Texas --- Richard Bachman made 20 saves, Aaron Gagnon registered three assists and Greg Rallo scored the only goal the Texas Stars needed in a 3-0 victory over the Houston Aeros on Tuesday night at the Cedar Park Center.

The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Aeros, who slipped one point behind the Milwaukee Admirals into second place in the West Division playoff race. The win helped Texas maintain a hold on third place in the West and pulled the Stars within four points of Houston.

Francis Wathier and Travis Morin also scored as the Stars notched a goal in each period. Houston goaltender Matt Hackett stopped 33 of 36 shots and saw a personal four-game winning streak end with the defeat.

The Aeros return home on Friday to start a three-game weekend against the Oklahoma City Barons at 7:35 p.m.
