American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

- Abbotsford Heat defenseman Matt Pelechhas been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions in a game vs. Hamilton on Mar. 18.

Pelech was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Pelech will miss Abbotsford's games Friday (Mar. 25) and Sunday (Mar. 27) at Manitoba.

- Grand Rapids Griffins center Jamie Johnsonhas been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions in a game vs. Lake Erie on Mar. 18.

Johnson was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Johnson will miss Grand Rapids' games Wednesday (Mar. 23) vs. Toronto and Friday (Mar. 25) at Texas.

- Hamilton Bulldogs left wing Andrew Conboyhas been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions in a game at Abbotsford on Mar. 19.

Conboy was suspended as a result of his game misconduct under the provisions of AHL Rule 75.5 (ii).

Conboy will miss Hamilton's games Friday (Mar. 25) at Rockford and Saturday (Mar. 26) at Chicago.
