Heat D Pelech Suspended Two Games

Abbotsford Heat News Release


Abbotsford, B.C. - The American Hockey League has today announced the suspension of Heat defenseman Matt Pelech for two games. Pelech has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions in a game vs. Hamilton on Mar. 18.

Pelech was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Pelech will miss Abbotsford's games Friday (Mar. 25) and Sunday (Mar. 27) at Manitoba.

The Abbotsford Heat will now take to the road for their next four games beginning with a two game match up versus the Vancouver Canucks affiliate Manitoba Moose for a pair of key divisional games on Friday March 25th and Sunday the 27th. Catch all the action on Country 107.1 with Dave Sheldon getting the Diamond Bar Equipment pre game started at 6:30pm... Puck drops at 7:00pm.
