Phantoms Make Roster Moves

Adirondack Phantoms News Release


The Adirondack Phantoms, AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced today that they have loaned 6-0, 225-lb defenseman Marc-Andre Bourdon to Greenville (SC) of the ECHL. It was also announced that forward Andrew Rowe will stay with Greenville and is not being recalled to Adirondack at this time.

This will be Bourdon's second stint with the Road Warriors. Bourdon played with Greenville in three games from March 4-6 recording two fighting majors in his first action since an injury on January 1. If Bourdon plays a total of five regular season games with Greenville he will be eligible to join the team in the Kelly Cup Playoffs beginning in April.

This season with Adirondack, Bourdon has registered 1 goal and 7 points in 38 games. The St. Hyacinthe, PQ native recorded 2 goals and 19 points in 61 games last season with the Phantoms.

Rowe has played In six games with the Road Warriors and has three goals and one assist. Rowe has seven goals and 12 points in 54 games this season with Adirondack. The Road Warriors are in action Tuesday night at South Carolina and Thursday night at home against Reading. The Phantoms open a busy stretch of six games in eight days Tuesday night at the Charlotte Checkers and Wednesday night at the Norfolk Admirals. The Phantoms return home for back to back games Friday and Saturday against Hershey and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
