Nailers to Host Star Wars Night on January 24th, 2015

WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens, are excited to announce the return of one of their popular promotions from last season, while adding a new twist. Star Wars Night will take place on Saturday, January 24th, now featuring Dinner with the Dark Side.

Star Wars characters will be at WesBanco Arena that evening, meeting and taking pictures with fans. Children are invited to dress up like their favorite Star Wars character, while joining in the fun in the concourse during the game.

Prior to the game, the Nailers will host Dinner with the Dark Side, starting at 6:00 in the West Meeting Room of WesBanco Arena. Only 100 tickets will be sold to this event, and all of the characters will be available for pictures during the dinner. Star Wars dinner packages are $30 for the general public, and $15 for season ticket holders. A ticket to the game is required and all kids must be accompanied by an adult for the dinner.

January 24th will also be the annual Boy Scout overnight game, and there will be a Free Youth Bomber Hat given to the first 1,000 kids (age 14 and under), courtesy of WesBanco Bank.

The December 14th contest against the Reading Royals is a Family Funday, with $5 kids tickets available, a post game skate with the team, and a visit by the Good Zoo at Oglebay. On December 19th & 20th, Wheeling will host the Greenville Road Warriors. The 19th is a Frosty & Flat Screen Friday, presented by The Highlands & The Law Firm of Bordas and Bordas. There will also be a Max MacKay Poster Giveaway, courtesy of Rich and Shirley's Quick Print of Wheeling. The 20th is a season ticket redemption night and team picture giveaway (holiday edition).

Holiday packs are also available. For $49, fans can purchase the Elf Package, receiving four ticket vouchers, a t-shirt, and an autographed puck. For $99, fans can purchase the Reindeer Package, receiving ten ticket vouchers. For $129, fans can purchase the Santa Package, receiving four ticket vouchers, a replica jersey, and a Reebok hat.
