Murphy and Curry Return to Florida

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward Ryan Murphy and defenseman Sean Curry were reassigned by the Everblades AHL affiliate Lowell Lock Monsters to Florida. Murphy has seen action in 12 games with the Everblades and has registered a team leading six goals and seven assists. Curry was with the Everblades for three games after he was reassigned to Florida on October 17th. He registered 1 goal and 4 penalty minutes in those three games before being recalled by Lowell on October 20th. Both players will arrive in time for the Everblades game on Friday night.

On Saturday, the Everblades, along with WEVU UPN-8, will televise the first of six Saturday home games. Also on Saturday, Florida will conduct their Fourth Annual Teddy Bear Toss after the Everblades score their first goal of the game. The "Voice of the Everblades" Mark Miller and color analyst Ken Schinkel will handle the television duties while Everblades Public Relations Manager Dan Guenther will handle the radio play-by-play and injured Everblades defenseman Vince Williams will provide color commentary of the game on Sportsradio 770 AM, 1660 AM and on the world wide web at www.floridaeverblades.com.

On Sunday, the Everblades will take on the Collier County Firefighters in a charity softball game at Fleischmann Park in Naples at 2 PM.

The Everblades host the South Carolina Stingrays this weekend at TECO Arena on Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 PM.
