ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Goaltender Christian Soucy has earned Anchorage Chrysler Dodge Player of the Month honors for November.

The 32-year-old Soucy will be honored during an on-ice presentation during Saturday's 7:00 p.m. game against the Bakersfield Condors. Soucy finished November with a 3-5-1 record to go along with a solid .904 save percentage and a 3.23 goals against average. He racked up 30 saves in a 4-3 win at Fresno November 4 that snapped a club record-tying seven-game losing streak. Soucy stopped 30 of the 31 shots he faced in a November 17 victory at home against San Diego and 34 of 36 two nights later in a 3-2 win over Long Beach. His teammate in Elmira last year, winger Carl Drakensjo, won the Player of the Month award for October. The Aces scored a grand total of eight goals in Soucy's five losses during the month of November.

Anchorage (4-16-1) has lost six straight entering a three-game series with Bakersfield that begins Friday night at 7:00 p.m. In addition to honoring Soucy, the first 2,000 fans 14 and under will receive a game puck Saturday, courtesy of Municipal Light & Power.
