Lynx Add Scoring with Williamson

December 5, 2002 - ECHL (ECHL)
Augusta Lynx News Release

AUGUSTA, GA— The Augusta Lynx announced today the signing of high scoring Winger Andrew Williamson. The 6-year pro comes to Augusta from the Dayton Bombers in a deal that sent Defensemen Phil Lakos and Garry Toor to the Arkansas Riverblades. Williamson recorded a career high total of 63 goals in 63 games during the 1999-2000 season while with the Toledo Storm.

Lynx Head Coach David Wilkie thinks Williamson should help change the Lynx fortunes, "Obviously he's a talented and skilled hockey player, we need goal scoring and he should help fill the void.

The Augusta Lynx entertain the Pee Dee Pride this Saturday at 7:35 at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center. For more ticket information please contact the Lynx Ticket office at 724-4423.
