Lynx Add Key Family to Local Ownership

AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta Lynx are proud to announce that Angela and David Key, owners of the locally based A & D Carpet and long-time Augusta residents, have become the newest minority owners in the Augusta Lynx franchise. The Key family joins Pete Budwick, part owner of the Augusta Ice Sports Center, as the first two local groups to have an investment in the Augusta Lynx long-term future in Augusta, and continues the movement of the franchise toward local community based ownership.

Angela Key has supported the Lynx from their first day in Augusta, and is thrilled to now be a part of the ownership, "I'm excited that God has blessed us and given us the ability to become Augusta Lynx owners. I think the Lynx are on the right track, and with local investors it will ensure that the Lynx are in Augusta long-term. Last year we made it to 70 out of 72 games, win or lose we follow our Lynx everywhere they go.
