MANCHESTER, New Hampshire – The Manchester Monarchs, proud members of the American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that Tuesday's "At Your Service" Dinner at C.R. Sparks in Bedford, New Hampshire, netted over $60,000 for charitable partners of the Monarchs Care Foundation. The Monarchs hosted the second annual dinner just two days after raising over $16,000 for the New Hampshire Hockey Hall of Fame with their annual Hall of Fame Game.

Organized by the Monarchs Wives Group, the "At Your Service" Dinner turned a normally rugged hockey team into an accomplished wait staff eager to perform special requests for charitable donations. Special requests included but were not limited to singing happy birthday, telling jokes, playing a game of Twister and a dancing to the beat of "YMCA."

WMUR sports personality Charlie Sherman, Monarchs play-by-play man Ken Cail and Monarchs public address announcer Sean Sullivan opened the program by introducing the players and the coaching staff. Head Coach Bruce Boudreau and President Jeff Eisenberg also briefly addressed the attending Monarchs fans before turning the evening over to the players.

"I'm proud of the players and all of the volunteers who made Tuesday night's event such a memorable one," said Monarchs Community Relations Director Rhonda Martin, who coordinated the event with the help of the Monarchs Wives Group. "I look forward to presenting checks to our charitable partners who will benefit from the amazing turnout. The dinner once again reinforced something I think every body in the Monarchs organization already knows...We truly do have the best fans in the AHL."

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Manchester, Child Health Services, and The Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire all shared proceeds generated from the "At Your Service" Dinner.

The Monarchs began the week by raising over $16,000 for the New Hampshire Hockey Hall of Fame. Defenseman Joe Rullier, wearing his throwback Berlin Maroons jersey, scored the game-winning goal with two tenths of a second left in overtime to give the Monarchs a 4-3 victory over the Albany River Rats on Sunday, March 23. After the game, the special jerseys were auctioned off with proceeds going to the NHHHoF. Not surprisingly, Rullier's jersey went for a top bid of $2,750.

The Monarchs (37-21-10-5, 89 points) will put their seven-game unbeaten streak on the line when they return to action on Friday at the Verizon Wireless Arena for a match with the Worcester IceCats (7:35 p.m.). Single seats in the Gold level and 400 seats in the Silver level are all that remain for Friday's game. For Monarchs ticket information, call (603) 626-7825.
