Hartford, March 26, 2003 -- The Hartford Wolf Pack and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers will renew their Connecticut rivalry this Sunday, March 30th at the Hartford Civic Center (4:05 PM faceoff). There will be plenty of extra entertainment value, as Richard Scott bobblehead dolls will be distributed, teams of Hartford and Bridgeport firefighters will play a pre-game benefit game, and some terrific memorabilia items and valuable merchandise packages will be available in the Wolf Pack's "Un-Casino Night" auction and raffle.

The Richard Scott bobblehead is the last in this year's series of collectible Wolf Pack bobbleheads, and the first 2,500 fans into the game will receive one, courtesy of WCCC. The "Battle of the Bravest" between the hockey-playing firefighters of Hartford and Bridgeport will face off at 1:30 P.M.. Benefit tickets, which include admission to the Wolf Pack game, can be purchased for $20 each by contacting James Booth in the Wolf Pack ticket office at 860-246-7825, ext. 259. Eight dollars from each benefit ticket purchased will be donated to the family of fallen West Hartford firefighter Patrick Brooks.

The "Un-Casino Night" benefits, as did the Wolf Pack's "Beating the Odds" Casino Night, the Children's Cancer Fund at Connecticut Children's Medical Center (CCMC). There will be five auction items up for bids, and fans can purchase tickets for a chance to win any of 16 raffle prizes. All items will be on display at the game, and winners will be announced during the game.

The Wolf Pack will also be in action at home tonight vs. the St. John's Maple Leafs, with faceoff at 7:05. Wolf Pack 2002-03 multi-game, coupon book and group-discount packages, as well as single-game tickets and 16-game playoff strips, are all currently on sale.
