Admirals Donations: Last weekend, the Admirals held a silent auction of autographed NHL jerseys to benefit the Michael Taft Fund. Through the auction and additional fan donations, the team raised $3,367.
On March 9 and 23, when the Blue and Gold hosted post-game skates, the money collected from skate rentals was donated to the Chesapeake Midget Youth Hockey Team USA 2003, which will travel to compete in Barrie, ON, in April. More than $1,200 was raised to support the youth hockey team.
106.9 The Fox Nights: Tonight, as the Admirals face the Philadelphia Phantoms at 7:15 p.m., and Wednesday, April 2 when the Hershey Bears return to Scope, 106.9 The Fox will have a table on the concourse where they'll have t-shirts and other giveaways. If available, Admirals players will be signing autographs at the Fox table during the second intermission at each game.
