Hamilton Bulldogs News Release

The Hamilton Bulldogs have announced that they will be holding a press conference on Friday, March 28th at 2:00 p.m. in the Bulldogs office located at 101 York Boulevard in Hamilton's Copps Coliseum. At this time the Bulldogs will announce details of their ticket drive in support of ‘Travis' Battle' for the home game on April 5th versus the Manitoba Moose.

Travis Carter has "Battens Disease", also know as Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinoses. This is a terminal disease with no known cure or treatment. There are currently only 200 known cases of this horrible disease in North America. There is hope for Travis as experimental treatments and research are ongoing at Stanford Medical Center and Cornell University. With hope, finding a cure may only be 12 to 14 months away.
