MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach Richard Seeley announced today that Darik Angeli has been loaned to the Portland Pirates (AHL).

Angeli, a 6-foot-3, 198-pound forward, played in three games with the Monarchs this season without recording a point. Angeli made his professional debut Oct. 16 against the Brampton Beast.

The Lakewood, Colo. native took part in the 2015 Portland Pirates Training Camp, and played in both the Pirates preseason games before joining the Monarchs.

Angeli spent four years at Ohio State University, playing in 128 games, scoring 45 points on 25 goals and 20 assists. Before heading to campus, Angeli played four seasons in the USHL, splitting time with the Sioux City Musketeers, Chicago Steel and tri-City Storm.
