Monarchs Announce Signings

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced today that the team has signed forward, Kevin Morris, to an Amateur Try-out Agreement, and Craig Wyszomirski to a Standard Player Contract.

Morris, 23, played in 153 games for Miami University (Ohio) over a four year career, scoring 48 points on 22 goals and 26 assists while logging 80 penalty minutes. In his final season at Miami, Morris recorded a career-high 16 points on eight goals and eight assists.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound forward played one season for the Dubuque Fighting Saints prior to heading to Miami, scoring 19 points on eight goals and 11 assists in 50 games.

Wyszomirski, 23, made his professional debut last night against Elmira after a three-year career at Merrimack College. Wyszomirski signed an Amateur Try-out Agreement with the Monarchs on March 17.

Morris, Wyszomirski and the Monarchs are back to work tonight (7:05 p.m.) when they face the Elmira Jackals for the final time in the regular season, in a game coming from First Arena in Elmira, N.Y.
