Monarchs Announce Clear Day Roster

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, on Friday announced their Clear Day Roster, which consists of 22 players.

Only those players listed on the Monarchs Clear Day Roster are eligible to compete in the remaining six weeks of the AHL regular season and in the 2008 Calder Cup playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension. Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts, only after their respective junior or college seasons are complete. The Monarchs Clear Day Roster includes:

Goaltenders (2): Erik Ersberg and Jonathan Quick

Defensemen (7): Drew Bagnall, Peter Harrold, Jon Klemm, Jeff Likens, Troy Milam, Richard Petiot and Joe Piskula

Forwards (13): Brian Boyle, Marc-Andre Cliche, Paul Crosty, Gabe Gauthier, Trevor Lewis, David Meckler, Matt Moulson, Brady Murray, Teddy Purcell, Matt Ryan, Lauri Tukonen, Kevin Westgarth and John Zeiler.

In Residence (3): Petr Kanko (LW), Patrik Hersley (D) and Daniel Taylor (G).

The Monarchs travel to Massachusetts to take on the Worcester Sharks at the DCU Center on Friday, February 29 at 8:05 pm.
