SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Vice President and Assistant General Manager Wayne Thomas announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Taylor Dakers (DAY-kurhs) from the Worcester Sharks, San Jose's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League, to the Phoenix Roadrunners, the Sharks ECHL affiliate.

"This move will provide consistent playing time for Taylor in Phoenix, as well as for Thomas Greiss and Dimitri Patzold in Worcester," said Thomas.

In his first season of professional hockey, Dakers posted a 4-10-1 record with a 3.24 goals-against average and an .886 save percentage

The six-foot-one, 175-pound native of Langley, British Columbia was originally selected by San Jose in the fifth round (140th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
