Blues Recall Polak Under Emergency Conditions

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has recalled defenseman Roman Polak under emergency conditions from the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

Polak, 21, has played in 23 games for the Rivermen this season, recording five assists along with 15 penalty minutes. The Ostrava, Czech Republic was originally drafted by the Blues in the 6th round, 180th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

Peoria returns to action tonight against the Grand Rapids Griffins at 7 pm, the final time the two teams face each other this season. Hannah Montana's Emily Osment, who plays Lilly on the show, will be making a personal appearance from 6 - 8:30 pm to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans. Full color 8x10 photos will be on sale for just $5 each, and autographs are free! It's also Advance Auto Parts hat night, with the first 1,000 fans receiving a free hat!
