Tim Miller has been re-assigned to the Gladiators from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
Miller returns to the Gladiators after he recorded one goal and one assist for two points in four games with the Wolves. It was his third stint of the 2010-11 season in the AHL with Chicago.
Miller recorded one goal and one assist in three games with the Wolves in his last call up to the AHL from January 26th through January 29th. In his first appearance in the AHL this season, Miller earned one assist and a +1 plus/minus rating in two outings with the Wolves.
The 23-year-old forward has 19 goals in 44 games with the Gladiators this season, and ranks third on the team with 33 points.
Miller split time last season between Gwinnett and AHL Syracuse. He earned two points (one goal, one assist) in 21 games last year in the AHL. He tallied 35 points (15 goals, 20 assists) with the Gladiators in 44 games. After he completed his senior season at the University of Michigan, he had one goal in one game with Syracuse in the 2008-09 season.
In four years at the University of Michigan, the Davisburg, Michigan, native earned 77 points (25 goals, 52 assists) in 166 career collegiate games for the Wolverines.
The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth. ¬Â¨
