MOOSIC, Pa. - Matthew Kent tossed six scoreless innings and Brian Miller's three-run double in the sixth inning was the perfect formula in the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp's 3-0 win over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders Saturday evening from PNC Field.

After a 1:44 rain delay, the Jumbo Shrimp (25-22) plated the first and only runs of the game in the top of the sixth inning. Lewin Díaz was hit by a pitch to start the inning and RailRiders (17-29) starter Ken Waldichuk (L, 0-1) was immediately removed. Lorenzo Quintana worked a walk against Reggie McClain and Peyton Burdick walked to load the bases. After a flyout and strikeout, Brian Miller cleared the bases with a three-run double to give Jacksonville the 3-0 advantage.

Kent (W, 2-4) pitched six scoreless innings with four strikeouts against four hits and one walk, earning his second win of the season. Jeff Brigham and Andrew Nardi each threw one scoreless inning with two strikeouts. Jimmy Yacabonis (S, 2) earned his second save of the season with one scoreless inning and two strikeouts.

Jacksonville and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre continue their series Sunday at 1:05 p.m. ET. Coverage begins at 12:50 p.m. ET on ESPN 690, espn690.com and MiLB.tv.
