Colorado Springs, CO - Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC midfielder, Rony Argueta, has been suspended for three U.S. Open Cup games and fined by the U.S. Soccer Federation for his ejection in the U.S. Open Cup game against New Mexico United on May 29, 2019. Per Professional Leagues standards, the USL Championship has imposed a matching three-game suspension for league play.
Argueta will be unavailable for Colorado Springs' contests against Real Monarchs SLC (Aug. 2), the Portland Timbers 2 (Aug. 7), and Rio Grande Valley FC (Aug. 10).
