Memphis, Tenn. - The Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies' NBA G League affiliate, today acquired LaQuinton Ross from the available player pool.
Ross (6-8, 220) has appeared in 15 games (two starts) for the NBA G League's Northern Arizona Suns this season, averaging 6.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 18.4 minutes per game. The Ohio State product and Jackson, Miss., native has also played professionally in Argentina, Israel and Italy. Ross spent three seasons at Ohio State (2011-14), where he was named to the All-Big Ten Third Team as a junior by the coaches.
