McLean returned on loan to Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, PA - Forward Kurtis McLean has been returned to the Wheeling Nailers, it was announced on Tuesday.

McLean, 25, has appeared in 32 games with the Penguins this season, recording 15 points (4+11), eight penalty minutes and a plus-8 rating.

A native of Kirkland Lake, ON, McLean has played 41 games for Wheeling this season, and currently ranks fourth on the team with 56 points (31+25). He is also second on the team with a plus-21 rating.

McLean was named a starter to the American Conference All-Star Team, but was unable to participate when he was recalled by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

McLean was signed by the Penguins as a free agent on Sept. 29, 2005.
