The divisional alignment will see the St. John's Maple Leafs once again play in the Western Conference in the North Division with the Hamilton Bulldogs, Manitoba Moose, Cleveland Barons, Rochester Americans, Syracuse Crunch and the Toronto Roadrunners. St. John's will play 28 of their 40 home games and 56 of their 80 overall games against divisional opponents.
