Goals:
- Brenden Kichton pulls the puck from the boards to the middle of the ice and blasts a slap shot past Steve Michalek at 6:24 of the second period.
- Darik Angeli takes a wrist shot from the side of the net that goes in past Michalek at 2:54 of the third period.
- Zac Dalpe scores on a breakaway with a wrist shot that goes past Connor Hellebuyck's left shoulder at 5:58 of the third period.
- While on the powerplay, Patrice Cormier pulls the puck from the goal line back in front of the net and bangs in the rebound past Michalek at 14:32 of the third period.
- With the Wild net empty, Colton Beck shoots a wrist shot through traffic that beats Hellebuyck with 1:32 to play in the third period.
Highlights/Notes:
- Connor Hellebuyck won his fifth consecutive start in the Manitoba net. In those five starts he has a 1.40 goals against average and a .951 save percentage.
- Brenden Kichton extended his point streak to four games by scoring his 10th goal of the season and adding an assist. In his last six games he has four goals and three assists for seven points. He leads the Moose in scoring and currently sits tied for 10th among AHL defencemen in scoring.
- Jordan Hill and Jordon Southorn made their season debuts with the Moose after signing professional tryout agreements earlier in the day. Jon Jutzi who signed an amateur tryout agreement earlier in the day did not play.
- Darik Angeli recorded his first points as a member of the Moose with a goal and an assist. The goal was Angeli's first career AHL goal.
- Austen Brassard had his fifth multi-point game of the season with a pair of assists.
- The Moose have won two straight and four out of their last five games.
- The Moose were perfect on the penalty kill for the fifth straight game. During that span they have gone a perfect 17-for-17.
- The Moose now have a 2-4-0-1 record in their season series against the Wild with one game to play.
The Moose will play the Iowa Wild in the rematch on Friday, Apr. 1 at the Wells Fargo Arena at 7 p.m. CT.
