
Falcons to Hold Block Party on Fan Appreciation Night

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons announced today the details for the Block Party on Saturday, April 16 when the team hosts the Portland Pirates at 7 p.m.
The Block Party will be held prior to the game from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. featuring a beer garden, soda, chips, a desert truck and Bear's Smokehouse Barbecue. Kids in attendance can enjoy the Falcons Slap Shot Game, face painting, and balloon twisters.
Live music will be performed by General Gist and the King Ward Falcons' team bus will be on-site for viewing. All fans can enter to shoot for a 2016 Hyundai Sonata until the opening faceoff. During the first intermission, five fans will be selected at random to shoot for the new car presented by Balise Hyundai. Prizes and Falcons memorabilia will be raffled off during the Block Party.
The 2015-16 Player Awards Presentation will be performed prior to the faceoff.
In addition to the weekend of games, the Falcons have announced a special meet and greet for full season ticket holders with Daniel Briere on Sunday, April 10 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the MassMutual Center. One fan who has placed their initial payment for the 2016-17 season will be chosen at random to win a Briere autographed Falcons jersey.
