Last Game

Eric Roy scored and added an assist and David Makowski kicked off a run of three unanswered Allen American goals with what proved to be the game winner as the Americans defeated the host Mallards 4-1 Saturday night. Sam Warning provided the Mallard goal.

Drop

The Mallards' loss to the Americans combined with the Komets' win over the Toledo Walleye pushed the Mallards out of first place in the Midwest Division last Saturday night and enabled the Komets to take over the top spot. While the Komets are just one point ahead of the second place Mallards, Fort Wayne does have four games in hand on the Mallards.

Skid

The Mallards have lost five of their last six games.

Home Sweet Home?

The Mallards have lost three straight home games. They have also dropped four of their last five home tilts after going 10-1-1 in their first 12 iWireless Center outings.

Guillaume Gelinas returned to the lineup last Saturday after missing the Mallards' games last Wednesday and Thursday against Evansville (illness)...Miles Koules returned to the line-up last Saturday after missing last Thursday's game at Evansville (illness)...Matt Carey (upper body) missed last Saturday's game...Zach Pochiro (upper body), who has missed the Mallards' last four games, was today placed on 21-day injured reserve retroactive to December 28...Tanner Eberle (upper body) has missed the Mallards' last seven games... Kevin Henderson (upper body) has missed the Mallards' last 15 games.
