Joliet Slammers News Release
(Joliet, IL) - Maggie Speaks has been entertaining Chicagoans since 1997. On Wednesday, August 10th, they're coming to Joliet.
The band will perform following the Joliet Slammers-Gateway Grizzlies game at Silver Cross Field. They'll perform numerous hit songs with their unique energetic style.
"We're really excited for the first concert in the Slammers era at Silver Cross Field," team President Bill Waliewski said. "Maggie Speaks is a band that is very popular in Chicago and we look forward to bringing them to Joliet."
What makes Maggie Speaks different than a normal cover band is that they start performing...and don't stop. The seamless transition between songs gives their shows an energy that few can match. The wide variety of genres that Maggie Speaks brings to the table, from R&B to Country, is another aspect of the band fans will enjoy. The music fans will hear spreads over five decades and will be instantly recognizable.
Admission to the game gets fans admission to the concert as well. Fans can purchase their $10 reserved seat or $5 spot on the lawn by calling (815) 722-2287 during business hours or visiting www.jolietslammers.com any time.
