Wild Things Beat RiverHawks 6-1

WASHINGTON, Pa.- The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial, prevailed over the Rockford RiverHawks Wednesday night at CONSOL Energy Park by a score of 6-1.

Washington scored first in the second inning when Blake Ochoa homered and drove in Estee Harris.

The highlight of the game, however, was Estee Harris's grand slam in the third. The left fielder plated Doug Thennis, Scott Lawson and Tim Battle with his powerhouse hit.

In the sixth inning Rockford avoided the shut out when Jason James hit a sacrifice fly to drive in David Cooper.

Washington starter, Justin Hall (5-5)threw a complete game, allowing seven hits, one run, two walks, and five strikeouts.
