
M-Braves to Participate in "Stars & Stripes" Cap Program

PEARL, MS -- The Mississippi Braves baseball team is proud to announce that it will participate in Minor League Baseball's "Stars & Stripes" cap program. The Double-A Braves will wear a special Fourth of July cap during the games on July 3 and 4.
2014 is Minor League Baseball's fifth consecutive year in the cap program which benefits Welcome Back Veterans, an organization dedicated to addressing the ongoing needs of military personnel and their families. MiLB will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from cap sales to Welcome Back Veterans.
The specially designed "Stars & Stripes" caps from New Era Cap Company will have the American flag etched into a star behind the M-Braves white "M" logo, with a blue crown and red brim. The special hats are available in the M-Braves Team Store or online at mississippibraves.com.
