JACKSON, TENN. (JULY 1, 2014) - The Generals (3-9/34-47) and Mobile BayBears (7-5/49-32) game Tuesday has been suspended due to rain. The game is scoreless with one out in the bottom of the fourth and Dan Paolini on first for Jackson. The game was stopped at 8:17 p.m. on Tuesday night and was officially suspended at 9:00 p.m. after heavy rains and winds hit The Ballpark in Jackson.

Victor Sanchez (3-4, 4.30) pitched well for Jackson on Tuesday before the game was suspended, allowing just four base runners in 4.0 innings of work. Sanchez worked around a one-out two-on jam in the fourth inning. Mobile starter Archie Bradley was his equal through 3.1 innings as he stranded four Jackson runners without allowing a run.

The game will be picked up and finished on Wednesday at 5:05 p.m. at The Ballpark in Jackson with one on and one out in the bottom of the fourth. Wednesday's scheduled game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion to the suspended game, and will be a seven inning affair.

The Generals will look to start Tyler Pike (0-0, 2.57) and he will be opposed by Charles Brewer (3-2, 2.91) of Mobile. The game will begin at 5:05 p.m. and can be heard on 96.5 ESPN, TuneIn Radio and jacksongeneralsbaseball.com.
