PEARL, MS -- RHP Jorge Reyes has been transferred to Double-A Mississippi from Triple-A Gwinnett.
Reyes, 26, was 1-3 with a 5.40 ERA in seven outings since joining the G-Braves on June 16. Atlanta acquired Reyes from San Diego in a trade for cash considerations on June 3. He was assigned to Double-A Mississippi and posted a 4.76 ERA in four outings. Reyes was 3-2 with a 3.86 ERA in 24 relief appearances at Triple-A El Paso. Reyes posted a record of 2-0 with a 1.06 ERA in 12 games during the month of May. The Texas native was originally selected by the San Diego Padres in the 17th round of the 2009 draft out of Oregon State University.
The Mississippi roster has 25 active players and 5 disabled.
