
Lynx Sign Vet Brown

AUGUSTA, GAâ The Augusta Lynx announced today the signing of high scoring Veteran winger Kevin Brown. Brown will come to Augusta after racking up 64 points in 70 games last season in the American Hockey League as a member of the Hamilton Bulldogs. He scored 28 goals to go along with his 36 assists and 154 penalty minutes, and was third on the team in overall scoring.
Brown was drafted in 1992 by the Los Angeles Kings with a 4th round selection, 87th overall, and has logged 64 games in the NHL, including games played with Los Angeles, Hartford, Carolina, and most recently with the Edmonton Oilers during the 1999-2000 season. The 28-year-old Brown enters his ninth year of pro hockey.
